Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a Medical-Surgical and Telemetry setting at a major hospital facility.
• Rotate between day and night shifts, working 12-hour shifts as needed.
• Assess and monitor patients, utilizing ECG rhythm recognition skills.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, ensuring patient safety.
• Document patient care activities accurately in compliance with hospital protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver quality patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty prior to travel assignment.
• At least 18 months of recent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry, travel experience acceptable.
• Valid Ohio or Compact State RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Ability to work at least every other holiday.
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a hospital environment with diverse patient populations.
• Strong critical thinking and assessment skills.
• Ability to adapt to rotating shift schedules.
