Registered Nurse - Emergency Room
Location: Jacksonville, IL
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts per week (5:45 PM – 6:15 AM)
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care in a 22-bed ED unit with a patient volume of approximately 65 visits per day
• Manage patient assessments, interventions, and ongoing monitoring in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure timely and effective patient treatment
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner charting system
• Maintain safe patient environments, including adherence to isolation precautions and triage procedures
• Respond effectively to emergency situations, including management of cardiac dysrhythmias and multisystem organ failure
  Required Qualifications:
• Active Illinois registered nurse license
• Minimum of 3 years of emergency department nursing experience
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS (TNCC preferred)
• Proficient in cardiac monitoring, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and emergency response skills
• Ability to manage IV therapy, including blood product administration, central line care, and procedural sedation
• Experience with pediatric and adult emergency cases such as CVA, abdominal pain, asthma, infections, seizures, and respiratory issues
  Preferred Experience / Skills:
• Experience working in a critical access or magnet hospital setting
• Cerner electronic health record system proficiency
• Ability to work within a team and float within scope as needed
