Registered Nurse Emergency Room
Job Title
- Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

- Canton, OH
Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized emergency care to patients in the ER setting
- Recognize and interpret cardiac rhythms using ECGs
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with protocols
- Collaborate with healthcare team to assess patient needs and develop care plans
- Document patient care activities accurately and thoroughly
- Work at least every other holiday as part of the schedule
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 months recent Emergency Department (ED) experience
- Permitted Ohio license or Compact State license in hand
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC
- Epic experience in the clinical setting
- Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment with acceptable scores
- One recent reference from a supervisor, manager, or director in the ED
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in ER preferred
- Ability to work independently and handle high-pressure situations
