Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language therapy services to patients in a nursing facility setting.
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for communication and swallowing disorders.
- Float to different facilities as needed, including Brown Nursing Home.
- Work scheduled hours with one weekend rotation per month.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Valid state license as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Proven experience in providing speech therapy services, preferably in a nursing or long-term care environment.
- Strong assessment and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience working in skilled nursing facilities.
- Adaptability to float between multiple locations.
- Commitment to patient-centered care.
