Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical patients
- Assist with patient assessments, medication administration, and wound care
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
- Document patient information accurately in electronic medical records
- Perform procedures such as Foley catheter placement, wound dressing changes, and blood transfusions
Required Qualifications
- Valid LVN or LPN license in Texas
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant medical-surgical nursing experience
- Experience with CareTools and Meditech EMR systems
- Ability to work 12.5-hour shifts (6:45 AM - 7:15 PM)
- Willingness to work 3 shifts per week with weekends included
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Rehabilitation (therapy) experience, including transfer skills
- Wound care expertise
- Experience with respiratory therapies (e.g., trach suctioning, breathing treatments)
