Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, day shifts, travel assignment (13 weeks)
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care programs to help disabled patients regain physical and social stability through occupational therapy procedures.
- Perform assessments to determine patient abilities and limitations, and develop tailored treatment plans.
- Use physical exercises, activities, and specialized equipment to enhance strength, coordination, visual acuity, and cognitive skills.
- Develop and teach adaptive equipment for home or work environments.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate therapy activities and monitor patient progress.
- Maintain accurate records of patient outcomes, care plans, and related data.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in New Mexico.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
- Experience working with orthopedics or specialized populations.
