Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized perioperative nursing care for cardiovascular surgery patients in a busy operating room environment.
• Assist with all aspects of adult open-heart, endovascular, and vascular procedures, including TAVR, CABG, valve surgeries, and vascular cases.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes and adherence to safety protocols.
• Prepare and maintain surgical equipment, including advanced OR tools such as robotic systems and hybrid room devices.
• Support and mentor new graduate staff or techs as needed, promoting a collaborative team environment.
• Follow facility policies, dress code guidelines, and maintain compliance with all safety and infection control standards.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of CVOR experience, including adult open-heart and endovascular case experience.
• Valid RN license and current healthcare certifications relevant to perioperative care.
• Proven experience with adult cardiovascular procedures, including TAVR, AAA repairs, and vascular surgeries.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with a focus on patient safety.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Trauma and vascular surgery experience (RN and Tech).
• Experience with robotic surgeries and hybrid OR equipment.
• Flexibility to adapt to various room types and procedures, and willingness to assist with training new staff.
