• Full-time, Days shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in a Labor & Delivery unit within a Level I Trauma Center and teaching hospital environment
• Manage high-risk antepartum cases, deliveries, and postpartum recovery, including C-section recoveries
• Collaborate with medical team to ensure quality patient care and safety
• Document patient assessments and interventions using hospital's electronic charting system
• Participate in holiday rotations and on-call duties as scheduled

Required Qualifications

• SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate certifications
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in high-risk antepartum, delivery, triage, or post-operative recovery
• At least 2 years of recent labor and delivery nursing experience
• Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs (not required to float between units or facilities)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in teaching hospital settings
• Familiarity with high-risk deliveries and triage procedures
• Experience managing C-section recoveries

Additional Details

• Shifts: 12-hour days from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM with holiday rotation
• Hurricane season: staff may be assigned to emergency response teams during June-November
• Local candidates within 60 miles are encouraged to apply, with partial remote consideration at a reduced rate
• RTO requests must be submitted upfront and approved based on facility needs
• Travelers should be prepared for potential call-off shifts, with guaranteed hours per facility policy
