• Full-time, days shifts, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Perform assessments and data collection focusing on physiological, psychosocial, and cognitive patient statuses.
• Implement patient care plans through nursing processes, adhering to policies and procedures.
• Provide patient and family education tailored to individual needs and readiness.
• Document all patient interactions accurately in electronic or paper records, complying with regulatory standards.
• Supervise and delegate care activities to team members, ensuring quality and safety.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed, including staffing coordination and unit leadership.
• Maintain professional growth through ongoing education and adherence to safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Washington State RN licensure.
• Healthcare Provider (HCP) Level of BLS certification within 30 days of hire (AHA or equivalent).
• Minimum of one year of RN experience in acute care settings preferred, especially in Labor and Delivery units.
• Demonstrated ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care effectively.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
• OB Advanced Life Support (OB ALS) certification.
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification or equivalent.
• RN-C in specialty (preferred).
