Schedule / Job Type
- Travel, Nights shifts, 36 hours per week, 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in a dedicated Stroke and Heart Failure Unit, managing complex neuro-cardiac conditions.
- Float to other units and hospitals as needed, maintaining flexibility across different areas.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and neurologists to ensure adherence to best practice standards.
- Document patient care accurately in the EMR system.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree in Nursing.
- Valid Alabama or Compact State Registered Nurse license (No temporary licenses accepted).
- American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross BLS certification.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience, or 18 months plus 1 year of specialty experience under the highest level of professional license.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in neuro-cardiac units or with complex neuro-cardiac diagnoses.
- Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts.
