Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, rotating shifts, 36 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
• Provide outpatient dialysis nursing care in a busy clinical setting.
• Operate dialysis machines including Fresenius models, set up and tear down labs, and ensure infection control protocols.
• Monitor adult patients with fistulas or grafts, and assist with vascular access procedures, excluding catheter handling.
• Support patient safety and comfort during dialysis treatments, ensuring adherence to infection prevention standards.
• Float to other campus locations as needed, maintaining flexibility across schedules.
• Complete bi-weekly orientations and ensure all work history details are properly documented.
Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of dialysis nursing experience.
• Valid CCHT certification.
• Current BLS certification.
• EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years.
• Ability to work a mix of day and evening shifts, including weekends.
• Reliable transportation, with snow tires during winter months.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Certification in CNN or CBN preferred.
• Experience caring for adult dialysis patients with fistulas or grafts.
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
