Contract, 13-week assignment, Nights shift, 36 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Float between departments and local locations within 20 miles as needed
• Provide cardiopulmonary diagnostic testing and respiratory therapeutic support to hospital and outpatient patients
• Administer respiratory treatments, ventilatory support, and related procedures
• Support the hospital’s emergency and presurgical departments as required
• Work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
• Respond to departmental staffing needs, including on-call duties and floating responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Completion of an accredited respiratory care program approved by CoARC
• Valid New Mexico Respiratory Care Practitioner license
• BLS certification through American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or equivalent
• ACLS and PALS certifications through recognized providers
• NRP certification
• Minimum of two years of current experience in a specialty area
• Previous travel assignment of at least 13 weeks preferred

Preferred Experience / Skills

• EPIC electronic health record experience (training available if needed)
• Flexible, team-oriented, and accustomed to fast-paced environments
