- Full-time, Night shifts, 13-week contract
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changing conditions promptly.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Follow all safety and compliance protocols within the ICU setting.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification.
- Active CA RN license.
- Experience with Cerner electronic health records.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a Medical Intensive Care Unit or Covid ICU.
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
