Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a 38-bed Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit.
• Monitor and respond to patient needs using EMR systems and medical equipment such as Baxter IV pumps, wound vacs, and SCDs.
• Perform standard procedures including peripheral IV starts and dressing changes.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality care and optimal patient outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with unit policies and safety protocols, including appropriate dress code.
• Float to other medical-surgical units and ED holding areas as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Telemetry certification or experience.
• Ability to work 12.5-hour shifts (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM).
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Charge nurse experience.
• Experience with peripheral IV starts and dressing changes.
• Strong team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to assist others.
