Key Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care in the operating room setting for a trauma-level 1 hospital.
- Circulate all specialties except CVOR and scrub for general, GU, GYN, ENT, eyes, plastics, lap cases, trauma, thoracic, and vascular surgeries.
- Ensure patient safety, continuity of care, and adherence to hospital protocols during surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
- Work flexible schedules, including some call requirements and holiday coverage as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years OR RN experience.
- Prior travel nursing experience required.
- Experience working in a large academic trauma Level 1 hospital.
- Recent EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years.
- Ability to circulate all surgical specialties except CVOR.
- Proficiency in scrubbing for general, GU, GYN, ENT, eyes, plastics, lap cases, trauma, thoracic, and vascular surgeries.
- Valid RN license.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Large trauma center experience.
- Experience working holiday coverage and flexible scheduling.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
