Job Title
• Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Nights shift, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized nursing care in IMC, PCU, and Stepdown units within a teaching hospital setting
• Manage, monitor, and document patient conditions, including neuro and telemetry cases
• Float across Med-Surg, ICU, and PCU units as needed, adhering to unit protocols
• Assist in charge nurse responsibilities and potentially precept or shadow students
• Support with charge coverage during operational needs, following provided training and resources
• Uphold patient safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment

Required Qualifications
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
• ACLS, BCLS, NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, including telemetry and neuro care
• Proficient in managing drips and neuro patient management
• Ability to work flexible weekends, with travel nurses expected to work 50% of weekends per contract

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with conscious sedation and Level 1 trauma cases
• Prior experience in neuro or trauma units
• Comfortable floating across multiple levels of care and units
