• Travel, 13-week assignment
• Nights shift, 12.5 hours per shift
• Working 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to emergency department patients in a high-volume, Level II trauma center setting.
• Monitor and document patient status using GE monitors and Cerner documentation system.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver efficient and respectful patient care.
• Assist with triage, internal processing, and patient assessments, ensuring adherence to hospital policies and safety standards.
• Demonstrate proficiency in emergency procedures and advanced clinical skills.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort while supporting a fast-paced, culturally diverse environment.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of North Carolina.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a registered nurse, with at least 1 year in an ER setting.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS (prior to start), and ENPC within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, with a teamwork mentality and leadership capabilities to coach and provide real-time feedback.
• Experience working in a Level 2 trauma center and/or high-volume emergency departments is preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience with HCA systems is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to thrive in multicultural, fast-paced environments using over 120 languages.
• Experience with new equipment and technology, and commitment to patient-centered care.
