- Nights shift, 12.5 hours per shift
- Working 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to emergency department patients in a high-volume, Level II trauma center setting.
- Monitor and document patient status using GE monitors and Cerner documentation system.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver efficient and respectful patient care.
- Assist with triage, internal processing, and patient assessments, ensuring adherence to hospital policies and safety standards.
- Demonstrate proficiency in emergency procedures and advanced clinical skills.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort while supporting a fast-paced, culturally diverse environment.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in the state of North Carolina.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a registered nurse, with at least 1 year in an ER setting.
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS (prior to start), and ENPC within 90 days of hire.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, with a teamwork mentality and leadership capabilities to coach and provide real-time feedback.
- Experience working in a Level 2 trauma center and/or high-volume emergency departments is preferred.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience with HCA systems is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to thrive in multicultural, fast-paced environments using over 120 languages.
- Experience with new equipment and technology, and commitment to patient-centered care.
