Schedule / Job Type
- Travel, 13-week assignment, nights shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide bedside nursing care to patients on a telemetry unit.
- monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms, ensuring patient safety.
- Assist with procedures such as PICC line and vascular catheter removals.
- Document patient information accurately using Meditech system.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Adhere to hospital policies and maintain compliance with certification requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Valid LVN / LPN license.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Strong assessment skills and thorough understanding of telemetry monitoring.
- Dependable with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant nursing experience.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a telemetry or step-down unit.
- Proficiency with Dynamaps, Meditech, and advanced call-light systems.
- Previous travel nursing experience is a plus.
