Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, night shift, travel assignment, 13-week duration, on-site
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical/surgical patients during night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Perform full patient assessments and focused assessments every 8 hours
- Administer IV antibiotics and other medications
- Conduct bladder scans, discharge education, and admission assessments
- Manage patient ratios of approximately 6:1, with occasional surge up to 7:1
- Collaborate with a team of experienced nurses, PCTs, and clinical staff in a dynamic environment
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Virginia
- Minimum of 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience
- Ability to effectively handle a patient ratio of 6:1
- Strong time management and teamwork skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Meditech electronic health records system
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, energetic unit
- Upbeat and positive personality to fit into a collaborative team environment

Note:
This position is a travel assignment starting approximately December 1, 2025, at a prominent hospital in Fredericksburg, VA. The unit promotes a fun, team-oriented atmosphere with a focus on low patient acuity and staff support.
