Therapist - Respiratory Therapist
Location: Hilo, HI
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, night shifts, 12-hour shifts, contract (36 hours/week, no guarantee of hours)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide continuous airway management, including ventilator and non-invasive ventilator support
- Collaborate with physicians and assist with CPR and all aspects of respiratory care
- Utilize equipment such as computerized charting systems, Pyxis medication management, and various ventilators (e.g., PB 980, PB 840, V60, Para Pac Transport Vent)
- Care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patient populations
Required Qualifications:
- Hawaii Respiratory Therapy License (must be obtained prior to start)
- BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Ability to care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
