Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care in the operating room for surgical patients.
- Assist during surgeries across various service lines including general, GYN, robotics, neuro, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, burn, and trauma.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout perioperative processes.
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, including unit-specific guidelines and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to facilitate smooth operative procedures.
- Document patient care accurately within the Cerner system.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina or multi-state compact license.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent OR nursing experience.
- Broad surgical knowledge across multiple service lines.
- Ability to work day shifts on a flexible schedule.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with robotic surgery and advanced operative procedures.
- Familiarity with Cerner documentation system.
- Prior travel or contract nursing experience is a plus.
