Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, temporary (13 weeks), travel assignment, days shift, 12-hour shifts, approximately 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to post-operative and medical-surgical patients in a hospital setting.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in patient conditions promptly.
- Perform wound care, dressing changes, and drain management.
- Maintain and operate medical equipment such as Baxter IV pumps, Medfusion pumps, and SCDs.
- Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends as scheduled.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience caring for post-operative patients.
- Competence in wound care, dressing changes, and drain management.
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR system.
