Schedule / Job Type
- Travel, Seasonal, 13-week assignment
- Days shift, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 12-hour shifts
- 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to telemetry patients in a hospital setting.
- Monitor patient telemetric data and respond to cardiac events or changes.
- Perform procedures such as line placements and dialysis as needed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient care accurately in electronic medical records.
- Maintain compliance with safety and hospital protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in the state of Virginia.
- Previous experience in telemetry nursing.
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS.
- Strong cardiac background preferred.
- Experience in SD/PCU settings is a plus.
- 2+ years of relevant nursing experience.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with patient line placements.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems.
- Excellent team collaboration skills.
- Ability to handle high-acuity patients in a fast-paced environment.
