• Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, every other weekend (EOW), every other holiday (EOH)
Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct patient care to medical-surgical patients in a hospital setting
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments within the scope of practice
• Utilize EMR systems such as Epic and other medical equipment like telemetry monitors and bladder scanners
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout their stay
• Adhere to hospital protocols, including badge-in/out procedures and uniform standards (navy blue scrubs)
Required Qualifications
• Minimum 1 year recent Medical-Surgical experience in a hospital with at least 250 beds and level 2 or higher trauma designation
• Current BLS certification through AHA
• Valid RN license (ND or compact state) or willingness to obtaining one
• Experience with Epic EMR system
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and adapt to floating across units in Fargo hospitals
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Previous employment with Sanford Health (must have end date at least 6 months prior to submission)
• Experience working in larger hospital settings with complex patient cases
• Familiarity with medical equipment such as Phillips monitors, AccuDose, and Telemetry
