Key Responsibilities
• Perform interventional radiology and special procedures in a hospital setting
• Assist with procedures such as thrombectomy, angio, TIPS, and angioplasty
• Ensure adherence to sterile techniques as scrub and circulator
• Work independently in IR procedure rooms and take on-call trauma coverage
• Maintain knowledge of GE and Siemens imaging systems
• Follow safety protocols, including pre-shift vaccination requirements and weekend/on-call coverage
Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of IR experience
• Vocational or technical training in Radiologic Technology
• Massachusetts Radiology MA License
• RT registration (ARRT) and trauma certification
• ARRT certification in CT (preferred)
• Ability to work independently, including on-call trauma coverage
• Knowledge of thrombectomy devices and interventional procedures
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with neuro IR and CT procedures
• Extensive knowledge of thrombectomy devices for PE and stroke cases
• Familiarity with GE and Siemens imaging systems

Additional Notes
• Flu vaccine required prior to start
• Orientation scheduled weekly (typically Mondays)
• Guaranteed hours: 72 hours biweekly, excluding on-call time
• Parking costs may apply up to $43/day
• Candidates must be separated from the facility for at least six months if previously employed there within the last six months
