Registered Nurse ICU

Job Title:
Registered Nurse - ICU

Location:
Bon Air, VA

Schedule / Job Type:
Travel, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the ICU environment, including ventilated patient management.
• Monitor and titrate sedation, analgesia, and vasoactive cardiac medications.
• Assist with procedures such as RSI, arterial, and central line placements.
• Collaborate with the rapid response and code blue teams as needed.
• Utilize GE bedside telemetry monitoring and Meditech EMR for documentation and patient data.
• Ensure compliance with unit policies and maintain a high standard of patient safety.

Required Qualifications:

• ACLS certification required
• Proficiency with care of ventilated patients
• Experience with titration of sedation, analgesia, and vasoactive medications
• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience
• CCRN preferred

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Medical ICU experience
• Experience as part of rapid response or code blue teams
