- Travel, Night shifts, 13-week assignment, on-site
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) / Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Stepdown setting
- Monitor patient vitals using bedside monitors, EKGs, and other equipment
- Administer medications including drip titrations (Diltiazem, Nitro, Heparin) and perform lab draws
- Recognize and respond to basic cardiac rhythms and changes in patient condition
- Perform procedures such as bladder scans, blood draws, thoracentesis/paracentesis, blood product administration, catheter care, and central line care and removal
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Virginia
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- Experience with drip titration and basic rhythm recognition
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts reliably

- Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
- Flexible with shift schedules and adaptable to unit needs
- Prior experience in a similar IMCU, PCU, or stepdown environment
