Job Title
- Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical
- Richmond, VA
- Travel, Full-time, 13-week assignment, Night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), 3 shifts per week
- Provide direct patient care to surgical and post-operative patients in a Med Surg unit.
- Monitor patient progress and respond to bedside needs effectively.
- Document patient information accurately using the Meditech system.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality care.
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and unit-specific guidelines.
- Active BLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg and postoperative patient care experience
- Experience with orthopedic procedures and post-op care preferred
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Previous experience with Meditech documentation system
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
