- Full-time, Day shifts, 10-hour shifts, rotating schedule
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with interventional radiology procedures, including neuro IR, vascular surgery, and specialty cases
- Prepare and operate specialized equipment such as ACT, Ekos catheter setup, EVD/ICP monitoring, lumbar drains, and other advanced tools
- Monitor sedated patients, administer sedation medications, and perform invasive procedures such as starting IVs and venipuncture
- Collaborate with IR, neuro IR, and vascular surgery teams to ensure efficient patient care and procedure flow
- Provide bedside support for procedural setups and patient monitoring in a high-acuity environment
- Respond to the needs of patients with complex conditions, including liver failure, AVM, and multiple myeloma
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of IR experience, ideally including neuro IR
- Recent EPIC experience required
- BLS certification, ACLS preferred
- Recent references (within 12 months) and skills checklist (within 12 months)
- Must live 100 miles or more from the facility (no local candidates)
- Ability to work a schedule with-call requirements (at least one night/week and every 5th weekend)
- Willingness to work day shifts, 10 hours per shift
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with invasive monitoring and advanced neuro procedures
- Knowledge of specialized equipment such as ventilators, ABG analysis, and respiratory support systems
- Prior travel experience is a plus
