- Seasonal: Travel
- Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Cardiac Telemetry Unit.
- Monitor and interpret telemetric data, including reading EKGs.
- Respond promptly to patient needs, admissions, discharges, and transfers.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care.
- Document patient information accurately using Meditech EMR.
- Assist with cardiac procedures and patient assessments as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license.
- BLS & ACLS certifications.
- Telemetry experience with proficiency in reading EKGs.
- Ability to manage a fast-paced environment with multiple admissions and discharges.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Strong prioritization and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing patient conditions and notify physicians accordingly.
- Excellent teamwork and positive attitude.
