Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, 12-hour shifts, Days shift, 3 shifts per week, on-call as required
Key Responsibilities
- Assist surgical teams by preparing and sterilizing operating rooms and equipment
- Support surgeons and staff during surgical procedures, ensuring adherence to safety protocols
- Maintain sterile field and monitor surgical supplies throughout procedures
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures related to surgical care
- Assist with post-operative cleanup and setup for subsequent surgeries
Required Qualifications
- Certification as a Surgical Technician (CST or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of sterile techniques and surgical procedures
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and handle on-call responsibilities
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in a surgical or operating room setting
- Knowledge of specific surgical specialties or advanced surgical equipment
