Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to telemetry patients during night shifts.
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and administer appropriate medications and drips.
- Document patient statuses accurately in electronic health records.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergent situations in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse license.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in telemetry or cardiac care.
- BCLS and NIH certifications required; ACLS and CPI preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret cardiac rhythms and medications, with no titration required.
- Comfortable working weekends and holidays.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in acute care hospital settings.
- Familiarity with EPIC electronic charting system.
- Ability to work within a 75-mile radius of St. Louis, MO.
