Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, day shifts, 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week
Key Responsibilities
- Circulate surgical cases across various specialties including orthopedics, neuro, general, gynecology, urology, optometry, and vascular
- Assist in surgeries involving joints, fractures, spine instrumentation, craniotomies, and vitrectomies
- Ensure sterile techniques and adhere to surgical protocols during procedures
- Support surgical team by preparing the operating room and managing supplies
- Work in a busy community hospital with approximately 160 beds and over 400 cases monthly
Required Qualifications
- Valid BLS certification
- Proficiency in orthopedic, neuro, general, gynecology, urology, and ophthalmic surgeries
- Ability to circulate surgical cases effectively
- COVID-19 and flu vaccinations or approved exceptions
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with robotics-assisted surgeries
- Familiarity with complex spine and neuro procedures
- Prior working in a hospital setting with a high volume of cases
