Job Title
- Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 4 nights per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the IMC, PCU, and Stepdown units
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, manage dysrhythmias, and respond to emergency situations
- Administer medications including cardiac and vasoactive drips, PCA, and sedation procedures
- Care for ventilated patients, manage chest tubes, and perform ventilator and airway management
- Manage IV therapies, including port access, PICC lines, and blood product administration
- Support patients with neurological and orthopedic needs, including post-op care and trauma management
Required Qualifications
- Active Illinois nursing license
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience in a telemetry, neuro stepdown, or similar unit
- BLS and NIH certifications required; ACLS preferred
- Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, arrhythmia management, and emergency response
- Experience with IV therapy, medication titration, and complex patient care
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a high-acuity, teaching hospital setting
- Level I trauma center experience
- Cerner charting experience
