Registered Nurse - PICU
Location: San Diego, CA
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, 12-hour shifts, rotating schedule

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care for pediatric ICU patients in a high-acuity environment.
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, including coverage at sister facilities if necessary.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation using Epic and adhere to hospital protocols.
• Work effectively during holiday shifts and weekends as required, including evenings and nights.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid California registered nurse license.
• Minimum of 2 years PICU experience or strong Cardiothoracic ICU background with floating experience.
• Current BLS and PALS certifications.
• Epic experience preferred.
• Willingness to work 2 out of 3 holidays, including Eves.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Travel experience or previous floating assignments are a plus.
• Experience with neonatal or congenital heart disease populations preferred.
• Strong understanding of pediatric critical care modalities and advanced cardiac care procedures.
