Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, dayshift, 40 hours per week, 4 days per week, 10 hours per shift
Key Responsibilities
- Process and sterilize all operating room and departmental instrumentation
- Clean and test sterilizers daily to ensure proper functioning
- Prepare pre-packaged instruments for specific surgical procedures
- Set up case carts for OR cases, ensuring all necessary instruments are ready for use
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification as a sterile processing technician is preferred
- Knowledge of hospital instruments is a plus
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a hospital sterile processing or surgical support environment
