Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week, rotational schedule

Key Responsibilities
• Provide respiratory care to neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients across hospital units including nursery, ER, and general floors
• Support patient care through the operation of ventilators and monitoring equipment such as Puritan Bennett models and ABG analysis
• Collaborate with healthcare team to meet patient needs, including working every other weekend and supporting holiday coverage
• Maintain accurate documentation within electronic medical records (EPIC) and medication systems (Pyxis)
• Flexibly support various hospital units as needed, including floating across floors

Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 2-3 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Current NY respiratory therapist license or proof of application (processing time 6-8 weeks)
• Must have at least 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy
• NRP certification or exposure to neonatal/pediatric patient care
• Recent (within past 2 years) EPIC EMR experience
• Basic certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NRP

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working in a trauma or teaching hospital environment
• Familiarity with invasive monitoring and advanced respiratory equipment such as ECMO and ventilators
• Reliable personal transportation with all-season or snow tires during winter months
