Key Responsibilities

• Perform histology laboratory procedures following established protocols.
• Prepare tissue samples for microscopic examination, including embedding, sectioning, and staining.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure quality control standards are met.
• Document procedures and results accurately in laboratory information systems.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and proper handling of samples and chemicals.
• Collaborate with pathology team to ensure timely and accurate testing.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a pathology laboratory specializing in histology.
• Certified as a Histotechnologist (ASCP HT/HTL).
• Attention to detail, good physical dexterity, and strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to pass a Color-Acuity screening test.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with pathology laboratory instrumentation.
• Knowledge of laboratory safety and compliance standards.
• Prior experience working during holiday shifts preferred.
