Registered Nurse - Oncology
Location: Cumming, GA
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Days shift, 8-hour shifts, 12-week assignment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized nursing care to oncology patients in a hospital setting.
- Administer chemotherapy and manage patient symptoms according to protocols.
- Monitor patient progress, respond to clinical needs, and document care accurately.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Adhere to all safety, compliance, and confidentiality standards.
- Support patient education and emotional well-being throughout treatment.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as an RN in Oncology.
- Valid and current RN license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Chemotherapy certification.
- Ability to work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s) and 1 minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve).
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Oncology nursing experience in a hospital setting.
- Familiarity with infusion therapy and patient management during chemo treatments.
Additional Notes:
Candidates must be willing to work within a 50-mile radius of the facility's location.
