Registered Nurse - Dialysis
Location: Burlington, VT
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, rotating shifts, 4 shifts per week, 9 hours per shift

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care for patients undergoing acute dialysis treatments in a large teaching facility.
• Cover FMLA leave for up to 16 weeks, ensuring continuity of patient care.
• Maintain flexibility to work 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts as needed.
• Participate in a call rotation once every 7 days, including weekends, with floating responsibilities across units.
• Accurately document patient care activities using Epic EMR systems, with recent experience within the past 2 years.
• Adhere to facility protocols and ensure all work history, employment gaps, and required documentation are complete for assignment approval.

Required Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse license.
• Experience in acute care units working with critically ill patients.
• Proven expertise in dialysis, preferably with apheresis experience.
• Recent Epic EMR experience (within the past 2 years).
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and call shifts.
• Reliable transportation, with vehicles equipped for winter conditions during November through April.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience working in large teaching hospitals.
• Knowledge of IV therapy and additional dialysis procedures.
