Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to post-surgical patients in a telemetry unit.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition promptly.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and perform necessary procedures such as NGT insertion and tube feedings.
- Document patient care and progress accurately in electronic medical records.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Recognize stroke symptoms and perform wound care as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant nursing experience.
- Experience in Med-Surg/Tele units.
- ACLS certification.
- IV insertion and phlebotomy skills.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Wound care experience.
- Ability to recognize stroke symptoms.
- Strong team player with organizational skills and initiative.
