Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, onsite, day shifts, 5 days per week
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement patient treatment plans for radiation therapy, including SRS, SBRT, IGRT, and IMRT
- Perform CT simulation, tumor localization, and create custom molds and shields
- Operate and maintain Varian Tx machines such as TrueBeam, TrueBeam Edge, and Trilogy
- Assist in treatment planning using systems like Eclipse and documentation through ARIA and Epic
- Manage pre-treatment procedures including image-guided radiation therapy and respiratory gating techniques
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure precise and safe delivery of radiation treatments
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of dosimetry experience in a clinical setting
- Certification in BCLS, ARRT, and Ohio radiation safety licensing
- Knowledge of CBCT/kV/mV imaging, Wedges, and emergency protocols
- Experience with treatment planning systems such as Eclipse and documentation platforms ARIA and Epic
- Familiarity with Varian treatment machines
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with electron fields, respiratory gating/breath hold techniques for breast treatments
- Knowledge of specialty treatments like stereotactic radiosurgery and Gynecomastia procedures
- Experience handling treatments for cancers such as pancreatic, testicular, prostate, and lymphomas
