Key Responsibilities
- Provide emergency nursing care for pediatric and adult patients in a high-volume ER setting
- Perform triage assessments and prioritize patient care based on acuity levels
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed within scope of practice
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Document patient information accurately and efficiently in electronic health records
Required Qualifications
- Valid California Registered Nurse license
- BLS (AHA) and PALS certifications
- Minimum 1 year of ER or ED nursing experience
- Pediatric and emergency department experience with triage skills
- Ability to work 2 out of 3 holidays, including Eves, and willingness to float across multiple locations as needed
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in Level 1 trauma centers
- Flexibility with shift schedules, including weekends
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

Additional Details
- Shift: 7 hours per shift, 4 shifts per week, including days and weekends
- Locations: Mainly at Oceanside, with floating to sister facilities in Mid City, Escondido, and Chula Vista
- Parking: Free parking available for travelers
- Duration: Starting November 24, with minimum guaranteed hours after policy fulfillment
