Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments and interventions according to physician orders and patient needs
- Monitor and assess patient respiratory status, making adjustments as necessary
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement respiratory care plans
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient responses
- Float between multiple hospitals as assigned, including Methodist, University, Fishers, and Morgan locations
- Comply with all ACLS, BCLS, and RRT certification requirements
Required Qualifications
- NBRC (RRT) certification required
- Indiana State license required
- 2+ years of recent ICU experience, including 18 months in a critical care setting
- Accredited education through CoARC and regional accreditation via CHEA
- Willingness to work night shifts and float between facilities
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in diverse hospital environments
- Ability to quickly adapt to different clinical settings and protocols
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
