Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 12-hour night shifts, rotating weekends and holidays, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide patient care
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to policies, procedures, and standards of care
• Document all patient information accurately and in accordance with standards of care
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in coordination with physicians and hospital policies
• Participate in departmental performance improvement initiatives and support shared governance
• Apply clinical expertise to support other units and departments in maintaining the patient’s ongoing care plan
• Use critical thinking to ensure patient safety and experience, escalating concerns as needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid Wisconsin RN license
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Flu vaccination required for all RN candidates
• Ability to float to other units if necessary
• Proficiency with nursing standards, policies, and legal guidelines

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in medical-surgical nursing preferred
• Strong communication and clinical judgment skills
