- Days shifts, full-time, 5 days per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a busy GI oncology clinic
- Document patient visits accurately using the EPIC system
- Perform clinical tasks such as starting IVs, collecting blood samples, and conducting laboratory tests (e.g., blood glucose monitoring)
- Respond to cardiac emergencies with CPR/Code Blue procedures
- Support patient education and assist with laboratory specimen collection
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse license with at least 2 years of outpatient clinic experience
- Knowledge of GI oncology patient care and treatments
- BLS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Oncology Nursing Certification (OCN) or similar certification preferred
- Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) certification preferred
- Experience with laboratory testing and specimen collection for adult and geriatric patients
