Schedule / Job Type
- Rotating shifts, 1 shift per week, full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate all aspects of patient care within the scope of practice in the operating room setting
- Provide patient education tailored to individual needs before, during, and after procedures
- Transcribe, utilize, and implement protocols and physician orders accurately
- Coordinate with the healthcare team and delegate appropriate tasks to ancillary personnel within the surgical environment
- Perform other duties as assigned to support surgical services operation
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Valid RN license in good standing with the State of Wyoming
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (must obtain within 60 days of hire if not already certified)
- Valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (must obtain within six months of hire if required for shift or sedation)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous hospital or operating room experience preferred
- CNOR Certification is a plus
