Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
• Travel, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in a dedicated Stroke and Heart Failure Unit.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including cardiologists and neurologists, to manage complex neuro-cardiac conditions.
• Float to other units and hospitals as needed, maintaining flexibility and adaptability.
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system.
• Provide compassionate support and education to patients and their families.
Required Qualifications
• Associates degree in Nursing.
• Valid Registered Nurse license in the State of Alabama or a Compact license (No temporary licenses accepted).
• BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross.
• At least 2 years of nursing experience, or 18 months with relevant specialized experience, including 1 year in the neuro-cardiac field.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working in a Stroke or Heart Failure unit.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a specialized team.
• Strong critical thinking and compassionate patient care skills.
