- Full-time, Contract/Travel, 3x12 shifts, rotating
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in the Intermediate Care/Progressive Care/Stepdown unit of a major hospital.
- Monitor and respond to patient conditions, including cardiac rhythms and vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments following facility protocols and patient needs.
- Document patient care accurately and maintain compliance with clinical standards.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes.
- Work at least every other holiday as required.
Required Qualifications
- Active Ohio or Compact State nursing license.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum of 18 months of recent and relevant experience in the specialty area.
- Recent cardiac stepdown experience or travel experience in similar units.
- Basic ECG rhythm recognition skills and successful completion of safeMedicate assessments.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, with flexibility for operational needs.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in PCU/Progressive Care units is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with ECG interpretation and rhythm analysis.
- Previous travel nursing experience is a plus.
