Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, night shifts (12-hour nights), working 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide immediate emergency care to patients in a busy Level 1 trauma center
- Assess, plan, and implement patient treatment in a fast-paced environment
- Document patient assessments and treatments accurately using electronic health records (Epic)
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality emergency services
- Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and state licensing requirements
- Participate in holiday and weekend shifts as scheduled
Required Qualifications
- Valid MA nursing license
- Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience in a Level 1 trauma setting
- Epic electronic health record (EHR) experience required
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from AHA
- Experience in trauma, resuscitation, and acute patient care
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience at a Level 1 trauma center
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations
